The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) will handle C Programming theory, labs and IT workshop lab for the First year students. This department is also responsible for providing Internet facilities and conducting JNTU organized Internal ON-LINE examinations for the four disciplines run by the Institute. Industrial Tours at appropriate times will be arranged for the benefit of the students in addition to subject expert lectures. It will conduct guest lectures from the MNC/Industry specialists.
Infrastructure
The computer labs are located in 1st and 2nd floor of the building and occupies an area of 300 Sq Mt each and caters to the software training needs of the students. Each computer centre has 60 computer terminals with Windows XP and LINUX servers. All the terminals are networked on LAN to provide cross platform application with client server architecture.
Internet lab with a dedicated server with 1 Mbps wireless facility is provided for the entire college by erecting a dedicated tower on the college building exclusively for the college requirement.
IT workshop lab consists of 45 systems facilitating to practice topics like hardware assembling, troubleshooting, internet concepts, Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and other relevant IT concepts. The lab is provided with sufficient back up and internet facilities. Most of the systems are disassembled and assembled in classrooms to facilitate hardware training.

Prof. P.C.Rao. Vemuri,is the HOD of CSE & IT Dept., M.Tech & PhD from IIT Kharagpur, BIIT, FIETE, MISTE, MIEEE, 30 Yrs experience in Teaching and R & D Industry. He is a well known Computer Specialist of International Recruitments. He is one of the team members who got Mainframe Technology from US to India on the behalf of Govt. of India. He worked in Controlled Data Corporation in USA. He was an architect in building BDP100, Micro32 & Medha (Cyber Computers). He has reviewed research international journal papers in the field of Computer Science.

Curriculum
CSE & IT departments handles Programming in C and Data Structures theory classes to all the branches including CSE, IT, ECE and AERO. This department also handles C programming Lab to all the branches and IT Workshop lab for CSE, IT & ECE. and also UNIX, C++ , Java & DBMS Labs for CSE and IT Branches
